This may be of interest for all owners of Alacrities and Vivacities or boats that have a similar mast support beam as those. Sometimes those wooden beams get damaged or crack. On the Alacrity site, two owners show pictures of how they fixed the problem.

This is our first time on the blog. Interesting topic on mast support in this post that you have raised however we are unable to view your picture in this newsletter as it is showing as a blank. It would be very helpful if you could provide us with remedial action. Reason being that our port side of the mast support beam has collapsed and we want to repair it. Are you able to provide this information as referred to in your newsletter please?
